10 Signs You've Found Your Soul Mate

Love is something most everyone wants in his or her life, yet most people don’t completely understand what a spiritual connection it is. Sometimes this connect can reach way back into your past, and what I mean by past, it can reach as far back as many, many lifetimes ago. 

It’s not uncommon for people to find themselves experiencing a strong connection with someone who they’ve only just met. So much so in some instances that it can become addictive, or even paralyzing. Not in the physical sense, but in a spiritual aspect. 

Sometimes these connections develop into deeper relationships. If and when a deeper connection with another person is maintained for a period of time through dating, hookups, or even marriage, this intensity can grow. You may be developing a soul connection with another person for the very first time right now.

10 Signs You've Found Your Soul Mate

1) Your vibration matches. (Similarities)

• You have things in common that you like and dislike.
• You have similar personality traits and idiosyncrasy's.
• You have some sort of comfortable routine together. Night time, dinner time, etc.

2) There's an unexplainable connection you can't put your finger on. (Gut feeling)

• You feel very connected on a level that's not explainable, or overly obvious.
• It "feels" different than other relationships in your life, but you don't know why.

3) You raise each other's vibration. (You raise each other up in a positive way)

• You feel good around each other
• You uplift one another in a positive way

4) Your relationship flows well. (Not toxic, mostly easy)

• For the most part your relationship feels easy, positive,  and uplifting.
• It doesn't feel heavy, difficult, or exhausting.

5) You have a bond people notice or don't quite understand. (Respect, love, friendship)

• People around you notice your connection or make comments about it.
• People around you wonder why you are always together.
• You have a genuine respect for one another.
• You have a deep friendship on top of having a romantic bond.

6) The chemistry is intense.

• Sexual chemistry is intense.
• Friendship chemistry is also very good.

7) You feel like you've known each other forever.

• There was a closeness that existed before you got to know each other.
• You were comfortable with each other very quickly after meeting.
• You feel like there is a lot of history between you two, even if there is not.

8) You are "intuitive" to each others needs.

• You can tell if something is wrong, even if they say things are fine.
• You can "feel" if something is off with one another without talking.
• You can sense if your partner needs extra love, attention, etc, without them asking.

9) You enhance each others lives.

• You are better together than you are apart.
• You encourage each other to be the best you can be as individuals.
• You are supportive of one another without jealousy or moodiness.
• You genuinely want to see each other thrive as an individual and it makes you feel fantastic when they do!

10) You have a calming affect on one another.

• You feel "grounded" when in each other's presence.
• When in stressful situations you can refocus one another to a more peaceful mindset.
• You know how to keep each other's anxiety's and fears at a minimum.

Past Life Connection

If you feel that you have a very intense connection and you still can't put your finger on it (some of the things above are true, but your relationship tends to be more choatic), most likely you are experiencing a Past Life Connection. A Past Life Connection is when you've had one or more past lives with your significant other, usually a romantic relationship, but it can be any kind of relationship. In other words, you also knew each other in other lifetimes. If and when you are finding more of this type of connection:

• Feels "intense" when you meet or shortly after meeting.

• Feels very different than other "relationships" you've had in your life.

• Your relationship tends to be chaotic in nature. 

• Full of turmoil and many times angst.

• Feels "addictive" without explaination.

• Can leave you feeling "sick" or "drained" at random times during any interaction times.

You most certainly are experiencing a Past Life Connection. Having a Past Life Connection does not mean you are supposed to be together in this lifetime, they just mean you have a "spiritual past" together, which can help explain a lot. 

Rule of thumb: If it feels positive, great. If it feels not so positive, then maybe it's time to move on so that you can find your true Soul Mate...

Starseeds & Soul Recognition

Okay I got another question from a Soul Mate Circle member a little while ago:

"What if you are considered a Starseed? How does that work in terms of soul recognition and connections? And the premise behind twin flames? How does the Starseed theory intertwine with that?"

For those of you who don't know what a Starseed is, Starseeds are individuals who believe they originated from another world, dimension, or planet. I don't exactly like the premise "originated" because of a few things. So I'm going to post some facts for you below.

 
1) We all originated from the same place, and that place is not considered "Earth" so technically we are all considered Starseeds, if you want to go that route.

2) The chances that you've spent ALL of your lifetimes on earth is actually very rare. Most spirits and souls have lived in/on several other dimensions, worlds, or planets.

3) People who call themselves Starseeds have a stronger "soul recognition" of lifetimes in other worlds or dimensions. Sometimes there is a "longing" to be back at those other places, so they feel different than those who enjoy being on earth at this moment. Therefore, the identify themselves with others who feel the same way...other people who call themselves Starseeds. 

4) Soul mates, soul recognitions, soul connections have absolutely nothing to do with were you spent your past lives. That's like saying you remember your past lives in Europe and I remember mine from North America, so we don't have any connection. Soul connections are "Soul Connections"... it doesn't matter where you've been or where you're going.

Did You Know Your Soul Mate May Not Recongnize You?

Yes, it’s true…

But before you decide, great you’ve already passed each other like ships in the night, let me help you understand a little more about soul mates.

The word soul mate itself is a little misleading. It has the most romantic feel to it. Think about it…the word itself implies there is a “mate”, or by definition, “one of a matched pair” who you are connected to on a soul level…the deepest level possible.

How amazing! And they are out there wondering around aimlessly until you find them. This is when you begin to panic, and think things like:

How is that ever going to happen?

There are so many people out there!

What if we never meet?

What if we don’t live in the same city, the same state, or the same country!

How do I even know if I will know who they are when and if meet them?

What if so-and-so my soul mate and now I’ve lost them forever?

Even worse, what if I meet them and they don’t recognize me… 

Before you go into panic mode let me explain some things about soul mates:

1) Soul mates are two souls who have a deep spiritual bond and soul history together.  

What that means is at some point in time during your creation you’ve made a spiritual agreement and a commitment to one another to help each other learn, grow and evolve.

2) There is a deep love between soul mates, however, this does not mean your relationship is necessarily romantic.

A soul mate can be a spouse, significant other, family member, child, or even a friend. You can meet during many different life times, and therefore, have a different a relationship with them depending on your agreement during that lifetime. But here’s the kicker.

3) Soul mates don’t always recognize each other.

Even though you’ve made a spiritual agreement to meet up with each other. Every soul still has this little thing called "free will". Because we get to make our own choices, sometimes people veer from their life path or spiritual path, and make bad choices. When you are born into the physical world it can be very disorienting on a spiritual level as you become influenced with outside sources such as family, teachers, and friends.

As people grow up and become older their perspectives begin to shift, focusing more upon material things. They are also introduced to fear and worry by others, and they become afraid of not being happy. They become fearful of not having joy in their life, or of being unfulfilled in some way, that’s when desperation and fear set it. This fear will usually accompany a downward spiral of lowering their vibration and disconnecting further and further from their own spiritual bodies. It's like dominos, one will affect another. They begin to disbelieve anything they can no longer “justify” as real and tangible.

Result: Disconnect from spiritual body = plug into physical body. There’s no longer a balance. 

They become numb to their own spiritual body.

They no longer wish to be in tune with their spiritual body, because of too many conflicting internal desires (soul desires and passions), and physical world improbabilities. So they think. If this happens with a soul mate, since they’re no longer familiar with their spiritual body and how it “feels”, there will be no soul recognition.

If and when your soul mate can maintain a higher vibration of happiness and they are in touch with their internal desires, they maintain spiritual and physical balance.  This is when soul recognition is very present.

So will your soul mate recognize you? It depends. But if they don’t, you were not meant to be.

Soul Mate? Or Past Life Connection?

Have you ever met someone that you have an instant connection with? Have you ever met someone only to discover that you feel like you’ve known them forever? Or do you have a relationship in your life you know is not good for you, but somehow this person has an “unexplainable” hold over you?

Are they your Soul Mate? Or just a past life connection?
